چکیده
DNA detection of porcine species in processed meat samples (shredded meat) was carried out as an effort to enrich the literature and reference alternative testing methods control halal products circulating Indonesia. The purpose this study detect using real-time PCR. research method used is a qualitative technique. This technique analyzes CT value sample compared positive by looking at formation sigmoid curve if amplification occurs. controls consisted negative control, other LOD control. extraction column centrifuge results were then measured nano photometer see purity concentration extracted DNA. Based on research, it known that read nanophotometer wavelength A260 / A280 show 24,350 with 21,164. For testing, PCR analysis showed detected 39.77, 31.66, 28.32. for specificity not detected. conclusion can be presence

Processed meat is defined as products usually made of red meat that are cured, salted or smoked (e.g. ham or bacon) in order to improve the durability of the food and/or to impro...
متن کاملTaqMan real-time PCR: a reliable method to detect meat species
The aim of this study was to detect and identify meat species (beef, lamb, pork, chicken, donkey, and horse) in Kebab as a Halal meat-based food sold in on-road-restaurants of North Khorasan province (Iran) using TaqMan real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Raw Kebab samples (150 samples) were obtained from on-road restaurants. The samples were prepared, DNA was extracted and TaqMan real-t...
متن کاملA SYBR Green real-time PCR assay to detect and quantify pork meat in processed poultry meat products.
Species identification in meat products has grown in interest in recent years since these foodstuffs are susceptible targets for fraudulent labelling. In this work, a real-time PCR approach based on SYBR Green dye was proposed for the quantitative detection of pork meat in processed meat products. For the development of the method, binary meat mixtures containing known amounts of pork meat in p...
متن کاملQuantitative detection of chicken meat routine mislabeling in emulsion type sausages and burgers by SYBR green real time PCR assay
ABSTRACT- Today, the authenticity of meat products with less costly and desirable species has increased. Therefore and considering religious, economicalor public health concerns, proper actions should be taken to prevent such frauds. In this study, real time PCR assay was applied for rapid, sensitive and specific identification and quantification of chicken tissue in meat products. Specific pri...
متن کاملIdentification of meat species in pet foods using a real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay
Product mislabeling, adulteration, and substitution are increasing concerns in highly processed foods, including pet foods. Although regulations exist for pet foods, there is currently a lack of information on the prevalence of pet food mislabeling. The objective of this study was to perform a market survey of pet foods and pet treats marketed for domestic canines and felines to identify meat s...
